Little Piggy

Catherine has been drinking 8 oz bottle these past few days and still feels as skinny as usual. She has just finished eating one whole banana (cut up in pieces with me feeding it to her). Crazy. Here comes one major growth spurt. I can feel it.

Christmas Day

Stephen went to work at 4:30 this morning as usual. At 7:00 I heard him come home and his work had sent him home due to slowness at work!!! We got to open our presents!! My favorite present that I got was a Zune. Stephen's favorite present was shoes and Catherine's was the M & M candy cane in her stocking. She loves to shake and shake and shake that thing.

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve with Tami this year. Just our two families having fun together. We started the evening with chili and chowder and watched some oldtime christmas disney cartoons. We then sang some Christmas songs and got our Christmas jammies!

During that time Riley and Catherine were reading a book together and it was so cut to watch them. She was completely hypnotized by what he was reading to her. When we took family pictures Riley would not sit still for his but insisted on being next to Catherine reading to her in ours. Micah had to drag him out (with Riley refusing to go) so we could have one just of our family.

After we put the kids to bed, us adults played Perplexity. It was a lot of fun.We played two rounds and each team won once. With my answers I had everyone busting up laughing cause I seem to not be able to count to five correctly. Who would have thought.

Catherine did great smiling for the camera sitting in front of our Christmas tree. She was really cute and adorable. After we went over to Tami's to get a group shot of all our children. We tried.

Welcome Baby

Cindy from Welcome Baby did her monthly visit with Catherine today. We went over new things she will learn and start doing this next month (January). Catherine also gets weighed and measured each time Cindy comes. Her new weight is 13.14 lbs. and new measurement is 26" long. Catherine is getting so big. We are excited that she is growing so well!

Arizona

This past weekend Stephen, Catherine and I went to visit our Arizona family. Thursday we spent the night in Vegas and Mom, Dad and Brian came to spend it with us. We stayed at the Stratosphere and Brian and Stephen rode the rides at the top. Friday was spent with Brian in Vegas, and Saturday the Men went gold hunting (with no success) and Mom, the Girls and I decorated for Christmas.

Caroline and Kimmee spent the night Saturday and we took pictures of the girls Sunday morning before church. On the way home we went through a snow storm over Beaver pass. It was scary but made it through with Heavenly Fathers protection.

It was a very fun trip. I enjoyed Gramma, Grampa, Mom, Dad, Randy, Carrie, Caroline, Kimmee, Andrew, Brian, Stephen and Catherine. Sam (the cat) even let me pet him. I enjoyed this vacation.

Halloween

This is the first year we have our own child to dress up and take around for trick or treating! We had a lot of fun. Here in Utah, all the shops pitch in and do trick or treating for the children during the afternoon/evening. Stephen, Catherine and I went with Tami, Micah, Riley and Eleanor. I dressed as a witch and Catherine was my black cat (get it Catherine). It seemed like such a short walk but we ended up walking about a mile going up and down the streets. Stephen and I switched turns taking Catherine in to get our......I mean her candy. Just before we were about to walk home she tuckered out on us and slept the whole way home. Then she woke up once we were inside our house.
