Lightning Watch

After we put Catherine to bed last night, Stephen and I went lightning watching. Here are a few of the bolts we caught!

Wake boarding

Just 3 years old and wake boarding. She was face forward with a smile and holding on to the handles the whole time with Uncle Brian! She is so awesome!!!!

West Rim

Two nights ago at 11:00 pm my friends and I was looking out my front window to behold this view upon the Top of the Canyon.

Catherine's Birthday. 3 Years Old

I made Catherine's birthday cake (with grandmas help of course) and here are some of the presents she got.

Cake

Thursday Grandma helped me decorate my first successful cake. It was a lot of fun. I made it for one of the boys at church because it was his birthday. We had a combined activity for the youth and everybody went searching for pieces to the puzzles to put together a puzzle of the cake. Then we ate it!

1st Day of School

We got up at 5:30 this morning. I got dressed then got a cranky Catherine dressed. Off the the bus stop we go to catch the bus. We got to the Crows Nest where the kids are picked up and waited for about 20 minutes for the bus to arrive.

When the bus arrived about 8 older children got on, 1 boy a couple years older than Catherine and 1 girl Catherine's age. Then I took Catherine to the bus and she went right up in. The helper in the bus took Catherine to a seat with a seatbelt and off they went.



The bus arrived 5 minutes earlier than expected for pickup (11:45 am). I got on the bus to take her off and it was just the two girls (Catherine and the other little girl). Catherine was fast asleep in a carseat they provided for her. She went to me just fine and we talked to the bus driver but when I took Catherine off the bus she started crying because she did not want to leave the bus.


According to her teacher she did great in class today. I have no doubt that she had fun in class. After-all, Catherine loooooooooves being around other children.

It's Done

Well.......

my baby is starting school. She gets to go to preschool and get the help she needs to be able to speak and get her language skills in gear. I am so happy because I finally get to work out without Catherine wanting my attention but MY BABY IS LEAVING ME FOR SCHOOL. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

She is not even three and she is going. Wow. Not only is she going to school but she is also going to take the bus. Holy crap. The bus. She gets to sit in a carseat on the bus. I think I'm going to cry. Wait...I already did that on the way home last night. Will I be able to handle it the day she goes? I don't know. We will have to wait and see.
